Loved it. They made this vegan Simple vegan tacos. Outstanding salsa and really nice owner Margherita and daughter, Victoria. Will definitely go back. Would appreciate more veggies on the tacos. They said they would make whatever I wanted as long as they had the ingredients! Amazing!

Took a large party (9 ppl) here for Sunday brunch. One of our party who happens to be my spouse NEVER goes to Mexican restaurants because they're allergic to corn. Needless to say they were concerned about having anything they could eat. I mentioned the restriction when I made the reservation, and the staff made their dishes separately in olive oil (instead of 'vegetable' oil which usually contains corn b/c corn is so heavily subsidized in the US, don't get he started), including frying some special flour "chips" for the salsas and making sure they knew what they could order that could be corn-free. All of the food was delicious, and the service was delightful and friendly to all. Thanks El Pecado!

We came here a week before they formally opened their back patio, but when we asked, they were happy to let us sit back there anyway, with the warning that it would not be very pretty. I thought it was a lovely space already and am sure it will be even prettier in summer. We ordered a bunch of tacos and they were truly excellent. The lengua (tongue) was spectacular, buttery and tasty.

Always fantastic service here. Thank food is always great as well. Love the Azteca soup is so good! Just had the alambre taco, OMG! It was so good. Definitely recommend. Also, unless you're local, you wouldn't know that there is one cool and usually just one server on duty. Please have patience when visiting. They workers work hard and are super nice.

We happened upon this lovely little eatery while heading to the MSI from the Northshore. The food was great, ( shrimp tacos, Cubana torta, steak taco, steak burrito) the portions were also very generous. The torta and burrito we ordered could have easily fed two people each. For starters , they give you fresh tortilla chips, red and green salsa, and a plate of refried beans all for dipping your chips. The salsa was just ok, but the beans were good. The bathroom was immaculate and sparkling clean. Always a good sign. We were the first patrons in the restaurant at noon, but it quickly filled up. There was only one waitress working, which lost them a star for my review, it seems to be doing well enough and it was busy , so more staff on hand would have been a smart decision. All in all, I would definitely come back, and do recommend you try this restaurant!
